Highly recommended!

Normally do not write reviews but this experience should be shared. Have worn glasses since I was five years old. I had many questions, did the research, and it led me to Dr. Ashraf at the Atlanta Vision Institute. The website (atlanta2020 dot com) is top notch and will answer many of the questions you have, then a no-cost no-pressure consultation with Dr. Ashraf and his team will take care of the rest. They made sure I knew what to expect every step of the way.

Seeing in HD

It has almost been 2 weeks since my surgery and I’m already seeing 20/15! It’s like seeing life in HD! Dr. Ashraf and the staff were great during the surgery walking me through the stepsit was quick and painless! I’m definitely satisfied and would recommend this place to any considering lasik!

Great experience

I highly recommend Atlanta Vision Institute for anyone considering lasik. Dr Ashraf is great and all his staff were friendly. The day after surgery I was seeing 20/15 and couldnt be happier. Do it!

Great Lasik!

I did a lot of work deciding on a Lasik provider. When I met with AVI, I decided to have the procedure done that Saturday. The results were wonderful and the experience was better than expected. Dr. Ashraf’s vast experience made the decision easy. It has been almost 2 months now and I see 20/15. I am 54 years old and no longer need glasses for anything. My only regret is that I waited so long.

I had severe astigmatism and nearsightedness with onset at age nine.  The special contacts I needed were uncomfortable and I hated wearing glasses.  I could read the “E” at the top of the eye chart and that was all.
As soon as I could, much later in life, I did something about it.

Two co-workers recommended Dr. Ashraf of the Atlanta Vision Institute  when he was with his former lasik surgery practice.  On their recommendation, I had the same surgery performed (using a type of Bausch & Lomb equipment that is obsolete now).  He corrected my eyes to 20/15 in one eye, and nearly 20/15 in the other.  This was back in 2001 and I swear by my results.  Lasik, though performed under a streamlined process, is still surgery, and you experience minor discomfort and inconvenience as you recover.  The success rate is very, very high, as a result of being carefully screened beforehand.  Read the literature accompanying your consent forms.

I referred Miss D. to Dr. Ashraf after he formed the Atlanta Vision Institute, and he performed a different type of vision improvement surgery for her, and three years later she also is very happy with her result.  We paid for and received the one-year touch-up package, though she did not use it.
