Financial Information and Support

We’re committed to helping you afford the eye procedure that you need to live a satisfying life. Glasses and contacts are often painful and irritating, but many people accept this because they think they’re saving money by avoiding LASIK. This often isn’t so! If you look at the cost of external vision correction over at least a ten-year period, most people will save money by having a LASIK procedure, especially one performed at the Atlanta Vision Institute. We have our own excimer and femtosecond lasers right here in our Johns Creek office, which offers significant savings to patients. And if cataracts constrict your life, your options for clear vision are numerous.

Prices start at $999.00/eye for basic LASIK. Please fill out the form or call us for more pricing information. These prices exclude any discounts through insurance, employer, or Medical Savings Account that most of our patients qualify for. Having our own excimer laser in-house means cost savings for our patients. We offer affordable budget options to assist you in paying for your LASIK procedure and we pride ourselves on being upfront about all costs. Many of our patients have compared the cost of glasses and contact lenses over a ten-year period to the cost of vision correction surgery and found that LASIK is more economical in the long run.

Considered a provider by most major insurance companies.

While most health insurance providers don’t typically cover LASIK, they’ll often offer a discount to their members. The insurance carriers we accept at the Atlanta Vision Institute are listed below. If you don’t see your provider on the list, call us at (770) 622-2488 to see if you qualify for a discount.

Medicare covers cataract surgery.

If you’re suffering from cataracts and only have access to Medicare, you can still return to a life of clear sight. Medicare covers standard cataract surgery, which includes monofocal lenses and no lasers, and Dr. Farooq Ashraf offers you the surgical expertise that comes from performing thousands of cataract procedures. Cataract surgery is a quick and painless outpatient procedure. Don’t wait to improve your life!

Financing options for LASIK are available.

For some patients, a monthly payment plan makes more sense than paying for your LASIK up front. In the spirit of helping our patients in any way that we can, we have teamed up with Wells Fargo to make LASIK payment plans a reality. For those with approved credit, a number of plan options are available. Choose the plan that works for you, and start immediately enjoying your favorite activities without the inconvenience of glasses or contacts.
